Manish Malhotra Diwali Party: Here’s How Bollywood Fared At The Sartorially Charged Night

Manish Malhotra

Last night, Manish Malhotra hosted a star-studded Diwali Party with the cream of Bollywood in presence. I mean, if Rekha Ji’s on your guestlist, you’re golden. Sartorial highlights included Alia Bhatt re-wearing her Mehendi outfit, Sid-Kiara’s couple outing and Janhvi Kapoor’s sultry iridescent drape. Orry’s chikankari contender also has our vote. Here’s looking at what the stars wore at the Manish Malhotra Diwali Party.

Sobhita Dhulipala

Sobhita opted for the classic route by donning a lustrous lilac tissue silk sari with minimal detailing at the border for the Manish Malhotra party. Love the simplicity and the bindi.

Alia Bhatt

Alia’s rewearing streak just keeps getting better and it’s a treat to witness. She repeated the lehenga she had worn for her Mehendi rituals which featured a patchwork style detailing and an interesting halter neck.

Rekha

Manish Malhotra

Well, it’s her – she does nothing wrong, like ever. Rekha Ji looked her very best in an orange sari, OTT chandbalis and a coordinating potli bag. Need the lip shade, someone help a girl out.

Janhvi Kapoor

Janhvi Kapoor wore a statement Manish Malhotra sari for the Diwali bash with slight accessorising and subtle curls to compliment the contained maximalism of the iridescent piece.

Triptii Dimri

Dimri went down memory lane by opting for a Laila-esque lehenga set in an ivory hue with cascading shoulder details.

Vedang Raina

The Jigra actor looked dapper in a glitzy black three-piece suit at the big bash. Albeit a tad bit basic, we’re glad it’s not a basic tux at least. And he’s cute, so no qualms.

Sid-Kiara

The paps sure loved this part of the night. Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani showed up in slightly coordinating ensembles which clearly were the highlight. Love the minute embroideries on Sid’s kurta and the beaded dupatta on Kiara.

Kriti Sanon

Manish Malhotra

All set for Do Patti, Kriti Sanon’s vibe for the night was old-school drama doused with a little festive flair. The pearl decked blouse is exquisite, easily the frontrunner on our list.

Karan Johar

Something by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, please Alexa. KJo wore a red kurta and sherwani set for the Manish Malhotra Diwali party and honestly, one of the best dressed male celebrities at the event hands down.

Orry

After staring at the phone cover for almost five minutes at a stretch, I did manage to take a look at Orry’s white chikankari kurta which was a surprising little move from the godlike influencer given his penchant for all things OTT. He’s indeed in his DND, peace out era.
