PSA New Moms – These Products Are Infant-Safe!

If you’re a new mother or mother-to-be, we bet choosing the right baby product is on your mind. Newborns have delicate skin and immunity and it’s of utmost importance to not expose them to anything that’s harsh. A baby’s skincare need is very different from adults, less is more and the gentle and infant-safe mild formulas are the best. Dr Madhuri Agarwal, medical director and CEO, Yavana Aesthetics Clinic, says, “Baby skincare regimen should incorporate a gentle cleanser, a moisturiser containing ceramides and oatmeal extracts, and a sunscreen when taking the baby outdoors.” Avoid using heavy oils and vigorous massage. She adds, “Shampoo not more than three times a week.” Also, remember that baby skincare products are not the same as children’s product range.

Here are some bathing and moisturising products that are safe for your little one.
