ELLE: Tell us about your association with Miraggio and what does it mean for you?
Shanaya Kapoor: I believe that fashion is the key to one’s confidence and I have always loved experimenting with fun bags. Collaborating with a young fashion-forward brand was such an exhilarating experience. These bags have my heart and that’s what makes them perfect!
ELLE: Your recent collection with Miraggio brings back the ’90s tiny bag style. Personally, are you a tote or mini bag person and why?
SK: Mini bag person! I don’t have much honestly to carry, I like to keep it light, and easy breezy for the day! I personally feel a mini bag is a much fresher and more fun!
ELLE: As a Gen-Z, what’s your prerequisite before investing in a bag?
SK: We are all about fun and our bags should speak that right? I love a bag with a pop of colour, just the right size to fit my essentials, and obviously sturdy! A bag that ties in my personality with my Outfit of The Day!
ELLE: What about Miraggio aligns with your personal style?
SK: Honestly, if I were to define my style, it would be fresh and chic. What I love the most about Miraggio is that they have new styles coming in every month, always keeping it fresh! They’re also launching a Limited edition collection with me soon. Sshhhh
ELLE: If we were to peek into your bag right now, what are the 5 things we will find?
SK: I always have a cardholder with a few polaroids of some very special and priceless moments. You will also find a new camera film in the bag, a pair of sunglasses, some dark chocolate and perfume.
