6 Times Tamannaah Bhatia Gave A Masterclass In Acing Power Packed Silhouettes

Tamannaah Bhatia

Tamannaah Bhatia’s style depends two formulae that have proven to be quite effective. A) Stick to basics. B) Elevate your basics. Her red carpet appearances, movie promotion stylings & pap pictures are proof. And by ‘basic’, we hardly mean white tank & jeans (although that’s an evergreen choice that has all our support), basic here means ‘safe.’ It entails looks, that the styling team knows will deliver & complement her.

Here, we’ve spotted 6 renditions of a basic pantsuit/ dress, donned by Tamannaah Bhatia, that corroborate our point & additionally serve as a humongous source of sartorial inspiration to the ones who love a good show of power shoulders.

This one has our top vote in the lineup of all pantsuits donned by Tamannaah Bhatia. There’s something about a classic Rohit Gandhi Rahul Khanna piece. With understated embellishments that don’t scream at the word go, the decadent details seep in & slowly garner all your admiration. This pantsuit in midnight blue, with its satin lapels & underlining is surely a piece we’d like to see on international red carpets.

Tangerine Tussle

Top to toe, dripping in tangerine. This mono-hued pairing by Aak:Ch, may seem daunting at first, can be aced keeping 3 pointers in mind. Just like Tamannaah Bhatia does it, go for a muted shade of orange, not the one resembling the traffic cones, por favor. Build a secondary focal point – cue the stack of jewellery on her right hand. And lastly, scrap the reservations & just wear it.

Draped To Perfection

An offering by the Parisian label Maë Paris, this dress is called ‘the fatal dress’ & understandably so. With the powers shoulders defining the upper part of the piece, a flirtatious intermingling of fabrics happens right under the bust, in a crisscross fashion that extends below the knees. Props for the excellent construction & fitting.

Fun Fact: This dress was also worn by Cardi B during an episode of her show ‘Cardi Tries.’

Short & Sweet

Talk about unique tailoring. As much as we love a woman in a tux or pantsuit, there’s also talk about having a visual burnout by seeing repetitive silhouettes that lack innovation. Here comes the cure, courtesy Tamannaah Bhatia’s cropped alternative by the Delhi based label MéRo. With high-waisted, ankle length pants & a cropped blazer with a boning induced 2nd half, we’re placing our bets on this one.

Pick Up Limes

For the Cannes outing this year, Tamannaah Bhatia’s candy hued pantsuit was a refreshing variant that stood out the most. Spotlight on the berry toned makeup & the oversized gold hoops. Whilst the lilac cami underneath with its delicate lace paneling was pushing for a ‘loungy aesthetic,’ its layering with the oversized lime green separates added order & precision for a more formal look.

A rather fun take on the usual pantsuit, this gingham checkered piece by Shahin Mannan looks like it’s straight out of Clueless’ set. The blazer being cropped, in comparison to the benchmark length of its other industry counterparts alongside the pink & yellow patchwork, stand out as welcome additions especially with the fun little hair pin.
