Designer Payal Khandwala has just launched Tachi, a label that offers leather and brass accessories for men and women. The name Tachi comes from finely crafted Japanese swords worn by samurais. All accessories are locally produced, across different parts of Mumbai. If we had to pick favourites, we’d go with the minimalist brass keyholders, the ‘Senator’ sleeve, and even their signature ‘Mira’ bag (we can easily imagine folding it into a clutch or slinging it over a shoulder). We’re just glad that gifting season is in full swing, and it’s not too early to drop hints.
