It’s finally here. This morning, Beyoncé shared the first picture of her twin babies, Sir Carter and Rumi, exactly one month after giving birth.
After much speculation with regards to the newborns’ names, the songstress captioned the image on Instagram: ‘Sir Carter and Rumi 1 month today’. Echoing themes of her last photoshoot that broke the internet – which saw the singer caress her bump in a Madonna-style painting to announce her pregnancy – the mother-of-three proudly stands in a purple patterned gown with a turquoise blue veil in front of an arch of flowers, holding her newborns. Sir Carter and Rumi look positively adorable as they snuggle into their mother’s arms.

Queen B’s post comes exactly two weeks after her husband Jay-Z, released his long-awaited visual album 4:44, which sheds light on his marriage, fatherhood, and seemingly addresses allegations of his rumoured infidelity to his wife. Congratulations Beyoncé and Jay-Z!
