The first edition of ELLE Sustainability Awards 2023 celebrated the revolutionary sustainable change-makers in fashion and other walks of life. From fashion designers to beauty experts, climate activists and celebrities, the event was conceptualised to recognise and bring attention to the efforts of those taking responsible strides in protecting the environment and working towards a sustainable future.
At the ELLE Sustainability Awards, Signature Packaged Drinking Water curated a pledge wall. The wall consisted of little but effective ways of leading a green life. Celebrities, winners and attendees got a chance to pick up a sustainability pledge from this wall. The pledges included small but effective ways to be more friendly to the environment. Using household waste to create compost, reducing the use of plastic bags were a few pledges placed on the wall. It encouraged the people and the celebrities attending the event to take initiatives for sustainability, furthering the ethos of doing good and living good.
With change makers like Bhumi Pendekar, Dia Mirza, Rakul Preet Singh and Kalki Koechlin in attendance, the ELLE Sustainability Awards celebrated those working to make earth a better planet. Designers such as Anita Dongre, Rajesh Pratap Singh and others also graced the event.
Previously too, the brand Signature Packaged Drinking Water has worked in the field of environment conservation. The brand has worked closely on The Mangrove Replenishment Project on World Earth Day which was on April 22. This ongoing project has reinforced their commitment to restore mangrove plantations in Odisha and restore the fragile ecological balance of coastal regions for climate resiliency. Through its pioneering of the Odisha National Mangrove Restoration Project on April 22, 2023, Signature Packaged Drinking Water aims to give back to the community. This was one for nature, my signature.
Varun Singla, Vice President Sales from Diageo gave Dia Mirza the ELLE Leaders of Change award and Ripu Daman Bevli the ELLE Eco Conscious Activist award. Udit Singhal went home with the Signature Packaged Drinking Water ELLE Sustainable Tech Innovation award.
