The Hallyu wave officially took over India this weekend, thanks to the K-Wave festival, which brought two iconic K-Pop stars to the country: EXO’s leader SUHO and former SISTAR member Hyolyn. Both idols set the stage on fire with their beats and dance moves.

This was Hyolyn’s first visit to India and Suho’s second. He had often expressed his desire to return and meet his Indian fans over the past few years, which was surely fulfilled this time.

SUHO’s performance was fueled by loud fan chants and applause. Dressed casually yet stylishly in a red shirt and black blazer, he kicked off his set with a Namaste and maintained high energy during his nearly one-hour performance alongside his extremely talented band. He opened with songs like Morning Star, Self-portrait, and For You Now, and concluded with an EXO medley, which was a highlight for the OG EXOLs. You can catch a glimpse in our reel below.

And to make things even more exciting for fans, EXO member SUHO sat down with ELLE for a quick interview.

ELLE: What’s the most exciting part of your visit to India this time?

SUHO: It’s my second visit to India, the last time I was here for the Exciting India shoot, there was no performance, something I wanted. But this time, I’m super excited about my performance for the Indian EXOLs.

ELLE: What are your upcoming projects?

SUHO: I’m going to the South Pole next month to film a documentary with fellow Korean actors and restaurant owner Baek Jong-won. I’m also shooting a K-drama that should be out very soon—something for the fans to look forward to.
