Mumbai’s Lower Parel is becoming a culinary hub. The latest restaurant to open its doors in the area is Aqaba, which serves Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food. Named after the coastal city in Jordan, Aqaba serves up dishes from Greece, Turkey, Lebanon, Spain, southern Italy and north Africa – think moussaka, rucola pizza, chicken tagine and rose petal ice cream.
Housed in a corporate building, the restaurant has an all-day al fresco area as well, where you can relax over tapas after 5.30pm. Aqaba also offers the usual lunch and dinner options.
