Rahul Mishra brings his exquisite work to Indelust. The designer is known for merging traditional Indian textiles and embroideries with modern day silhouettes. Indelust’s Sana Rezwan kept the edit simple and refers to them as “investment pieces”. Some styles are pulled straight off the runway, while others have been modified for the Indelust shopper. Either way, it’s something that is not bound by a season or a trend – but if you must know, it is S/S ’15 collection. What to expect? Chintz and floral patterned jackets, dresses and tops in light chiffons and organza.
“When I curate, I think about keeping it simple, effortless and chic. I call it the ‘seasonless’ edit, clothes that you can wear through the year and for many years to come. I would like to think of it as investment pieces that you cannot go wrong with,” says Rezwan. Prod her about her favourite pieces and she’ll point to a couple of styles that were specially commissioned for Indelust like the Embroidered Flare Skirt and the Lotus Dress in white. Flip through the gallery to check out the pieces.
