A Step-By-Step Breakdown Of Bella Hadid’s Wellness Routine—How Many Steps Are Too Many?

Bella Hadid’s wellness morning routine boasts 11 intricately detailed steps—yes, we counted! From gulping down vitamins and detox juices to indulging in almost 15 different essential oils and savouring a delicious croissant to mindful journaling, it’s a whirlwind of self-care. In her latest video, titled “Mornings with me before we start making things for you,” she unveils snippets of her ritual, and tags her upcoming brand, Orebella. While the specifics of Orebella remain shrouded in mystery, one thing’s for sure: we’re absolutely buzzing with anticipation! And of course, this routine sparks an additional thought in all our minds: How many steps are too many?

While there might be too many concoctions, products and steps, Bella Hadid is doing exactly what she needs to do to take care of herself whole-heartedly. Isn’t that what wellness is all about—doing what feels right for you? (Bella Hadid revealed her diagnosis of Lyme disease in 2013 and recently posted about her flare-ups) Sure, the price tags and the number of products might cause many of us to double-take, but so many wellness girlies have taken over ‘X’ to appreciate her depth and investment in her health journey and are even striving to reach this level of “wellness insanity”.

For many of us, creating and sticking to such an extensive wellness routine isn’t feasible, especially with hectic, unpredictable schedules and guess who else goes through this? Bella Hadid during fashion week. She’s often juggling multiple runway shows with 35 runway shows in 2022, with over 20 fashion campaigns, and managing her Lyme disease diagnosis. Right now, because she may have the luxury of time, she chose to prioritise her well-being and share it with us or perhaps she does this every day despite her schedule. Either way, it’s what works for her, and the step-by-step breakdown provides us with some excellent tips to improve our morning routines.

Here’s what she does:

Step 1: The routine starts with three Genestra Brands tinctures. These are traditionally used in herbal medicine to help support gastrointestinal health.

Step 2: She adds a gut-support supplement to her water, ION’s all-natural gut-support liquid. It’s a great digestive.

Step 3: Hadid then takes a handful of pill supplements. Now we can’t be sure exactly which ones, but we could take omega-3 or Vitamin B supplements. She downs with a fresh green juice.

Step 4: The model picks up Gold Sea Moss Gel and mixes it in water to drink. This gel is known to fight iron deficiency, dissolve mucus, improve mental health, reduce effects of radiation, and aid in weight loss. It provides a full spectrum of beta-carotene chlorophyll, enzymes, and fiber.

Step 5: She adds a detox supplement, the Fulvic Detox liquid, used internally for gastrointestinal support and topically to help soothe skin irritations. (Possibly helping her Lyme flare ups)

Step 6: She takes a liquid of 72 naturally occurring minerals from the Great Salt Lake in Utah.

Done yet? Absolutely not.

Step 7: She eats a delicious croissant. Balance is wellness, right?

Step 8: Crystals, and loads of them. She doesn’t show us how she uses them but crystals are a great way to create balance and alignment within yourself. Many people use crystals for stress and to focus. Another famous supermodel super into crystals is Kendall Jenner.

Step 9: She enjoys a can of Kin Euphorics,a non-alcoholic beverage that she has invested in. This drink contains L-theanine, known for its stress-relieving properties, and Schisandra, which is renowned for enhancing clarity and vision.

Step 10: She shows off her essential oils. In total, she shows us almost 15 essential oils lauded for their ability to lift your mood and make you feel good with just a whiff of their fragrance, they are also known to help alleviate pain symptoms. She chooses two and applies them to her wrists and neck as her fragrance of the day.

Step 11: She lights her sage and picks up a book and pen to journal. A proven way to create some order in your mind in our crazy world.

Now, she’s all set for her day.

In this hectic modern world where responsibilities never seem to end, Wellness is really about finding what clicks for you. Perhaps you prefer small daily doses of wellness or maybe you enjoy making your wellness moves over the weekend and if you’re lucky enough to have additional time, maybe you, like Bella Hadid, enjoy a 11-step wellness routine. Wellness rituals can be as simple as lighting a candle, having a great breakfast, or taking a silly little walk for coffee, to even a banging vodka sauce pasta. It’s all about adding those little doses of goodness that pay off in the long run and sprinkle some joy into everyday life.

I thought I should share an everyday girl wellness routine. I am definitely not Bella Hadid, I am just a girl that works a 9-5 job and here is a breakdown of my routine before heading to office where I add little things for my overall wellness.

I call this: “An Attempt at Balance”.

  • Step 1: Wake up and avoid social media on my phone to ensure I’m not stressed or delayed as soon as I’m up.
  • Step 2: Hydration boost with a tall glass of water.
  • Step 3: Morning Stretch for 2-3 minutes.
  • Step 4: Brush, wash my face and do an ice facial, a refreshing boost!
  • Step 5: Drink hot water with cinnamon to help my blood sugar levels.
  • Step 6: Dry brushing to drain excess toxins.
  • Step 7: Shower, minimal skincare and get ready to take on my day.
  • Step 8: Have a good mindful breakfast anything from poha to dosa, all my favourites.
  • Step 9: Make an incredible coffee!
  • Step 10: Run out and if I can on the way, I practice journalling or enjoy a really good book. Depends on my mood.

In the evenings, only if I get home early from work, I add a 45 minute walk outside or a 20 minute workout with dumbbells at home. If not, that’s okay. We do the little we can. And on those rare days when time feels abundant I kick it up a notch with a sweaty kickboxing session, good 2-3 homemade face masks, my favourite meal (vodka-sauce pasta) paired with a glass of white wine and I sleep in—this is a major wellness move for me.
