Beauty aficionados have two new reasons to rejoice (and we’re not even talking about ELLE Beauty Week). Confirming rumours that had been doing the rounds since early this year, Gucci has announced the launch of their cosmetics collection, due to debut in September. And they’ve even roped in royalty to celebrate the move – Charlotte Casiraghi, fifth in line to the throne of Monaco, will be the face of the brand’s beauty range. The line will feature Gucci Eye, Gucci Lip, Gucci Face and Gucci Nail, as well as luxe brushes and various other products for the skin.
Also expanding its beauty range, British fashion house Burberry is introducing a skincare collection after a successful run with its make-up line. Christopher Bailey made the announcement during his first public address as CEO, but remained tight-lipped with the details. The line is scheduled to hit shelves in 2015.
