Louis Vuitton has joined hands with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) to raise funds that will go towards helping children in urgent need. The digital campaign #MAKEAPROMISE will see several global influencers and celebrities pinky swearing to make a difference. For its part, the brand will also raise funds through the sales of Louis Vuitton’s Silver Lockit pendants and bracelets – $200 from every piece worth $500 piece will be donated to UNICEF. It amounts to six first aid kits or 25 fleece blankets or 45 mosquito nets, in case you were wondering.
The campaign was launched on the occasion of the 6th biennial UNICEF Ball in Los Angeles. The new face of Louis Vuitton, Léa Seydoux, was joined by Hollywood bigwigs like Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Connelly, Selena Gomez and Miranda Kerr on the red carpet. They were all seen making pinky promises on Louis Vuitton’s Instagram page, pledging to do their bit and raise awareness about the campaign too. Sisters Sonam and Rhea Kapoor pledged their support too! Take their cue, and #MakeAPromise?
