Rina Dhaka A/W ’17 affirms the power of stripes

Enough has been said and done with stripes to make you think that you’ve seen it all. Rina Dhaka’s Autumn/Winter ’17 presentation at the ongoing Amazon India Fashion Week begged to differ. Embroidered vertical slashes broke the monotony of the white-dominated palette sprinkled with a generous dose of tassles.

Special attention was paid to the fluidity of the silhouettes; you could just as play a competitive game of basketball as you could go shopping in the flowy onesies. If you like your separates to be dramatic, keep your eye on the chequered draped skirts.
