Captivating pictures and special interventions

By Arshie Chevalwala  February 3rd, 2016

The inaugural edition of Travel Photo Jaipur features 14 exhibits from photographers across the globe and packs tons of other exciting events. Expect talks from experts in related fields, and three special intervention sessions by award-winning production designer/art director and photographer Aradhana Seth. Researcher Akshay Mahajan creates a homage to the vintage postcard. You’ll also find a photobook library curated by BIND.

Award-winning photographers like Pablo Ortiz Monasterio from Mexico (who’s been on the World Press Photo jury), Mauro Bedoni from Italy (former photo editor of the international bilingual magazine Colors) and Rahaab Allana (curator of the Alkazi Foundation for the Arts in New Delhi) will be part of the panel discussions.

In addition to occupying art spaces like the Jawahar Kala Kendra and Albert Hall Museum, exhibitions will be displayed at historic Jaipur monuments like Hawa Mahal and the iconic Amer Fort.

Travel Photo Jaipur is on from February 5 to 14. Travelphotojaipur.com
