It’s that time of the year again, when ELLE brings together the finest minds in beauty, makeup, hair, photography and wellness to judge the best from all the innovative products on the market. While we all eagerly await the night of 8th October, the judges met at Eve, Worli, Mumbai and products were tested for quality, ingredients were judged by effectiveness and expertise was shared generously- all to bring you the final result of a finely sieved list curated by the esteemed panel. Without further ado, let’s introduce our judges for this year’s ELLE Beauty Awards.
Dr Rashmi Shetty
Dr. Rashmi Shetty, a specialist dermatologist, is an international speaker, teacher and author with over 20 years of experience in aesthetic and clinical dermatology. Known for her results with facial enhancement procedures, that are natural, consistent and visionary, a pioneer in bringing injectables and laser technologies to India.
Trinetra Haldar Gummaraju
Trinetra Haldar, a pioneering transgender actor, content creator, doctor and activist combines her passion for beauty with her commitment to inclusivity, using makeup as a tool for self-expression. Her influence in healthcare and social change makes her an essential part of our ELLE Beauty Awards jury.
Ayesha DeVitre
Ayesha DeVitre is the writer of hit films like Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, Kapoor And Sons, Gehraiyaan and The Archies. She is a dreamer- a conscious dreamer. With her head in the clouds, she also styles hair for the stars. Alia Bhatt, Ananya Panday, Kiara Advani, Anushka Sharma, Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor are a few among them. She prides herself on having excelled at two diametrically opposite careers, a writer and a hairstylist- a combination rare to find.
Roshini Kumar
Rosh, aka Roshini Kumar, is a multifaceted artist and influencer who loves pushing boundaries and being as authentic as possible. She came to Mumbai to be a photographer, but soon also became a muse to some of the big designers in India, while she got recognized for being a body positive influencer and a fashion icon, along with becoming an entrepreneur.
Juhi Godambe Jain
Juhi Godambe Jain is a fashion and luxury content creator. She started her career as a fashion stylist, followed by a degree in buying and merchandising in fashion from the London School Of Trends. Soon after she returned to Mumbai, her clothing brand, Arabellaa was born and she became one of the most followed fashion content creators of the country.
Dabboo Ratnani
Dabboo Ratnani, a stalwart in Indian celebrity photography, continues to set benchmarks in 2024 with his iconic portraits that blend artistry and emotion. His unparalleled vision and legacy make him an invaluable member of our Elle Beauty Awards jury.
Nitya Arora
Nitya Arora is the founder and creative director at VALLIYAN, best described as a multi-hyphenate and a true artist dabbling in fashion, jewellery, retail curation, conceptual direction, styling. With a successful design career spanning over 17 years, Nitya has created significant impact in pioneering modern jewellery and its perception in India.
Anshuka Parwani
Anshuka Parwani is a celebrity Yoga and Holistic wellness expert, Health Coach, Pilates Instructor and founder of the renowned Yoga studio, Anshuka Yoga. She pioneered FlyFit in India which is a combination of Aerial Yoga, Aerial Pilates and Aerial Fitness. Being a national gold medal swimmer, an athlete and a commercial pilot, Anshuka truly imbibes fitness and wellness. She found Yoga and its magic when it helped her heal mentally and physically after a near-fatal motorbike accident.
