‘Seeing Consciously’ by Kajal Nalwa 

This exhibit by Kajal Nalwa revolves around nature and women, as well as their dependence on each other. It promises to be a captivating display of creativity and imagination. The theme of this exhibition is rural India—fields, trees, and rivers in all their natural glory. The medium for creating this art is oil and acrylic on canvas using a palette knife, watercolor, and charcoal on paper. The artist has aimed at portraying the simplicity of villagers in India as well as using flowers as personifications of their divine feet.

Liminal Gaps

Embark on a fascinating journey through space and time with a contemporary Indian visual art show that explores the spaces ‘in between’, or transitional spaces. The exhibit aims to reshape perspectives on India’s evolving cultural identity. The exhibition features four contemporary artists namely, Ayesha Singh, Raqs Media Collective, Asim Waqif and Afrah Shafiq. ‘Liminal Gaps’ if simplified, means the gaps between one space and the next, it can be physical, metaphorical, or even emotional in nature.

Reminiscing childhood days, Isvara is here to provide a true Konkan taste and bring back those memories. “With every dish, we pay homage to the flavors that evoke the warmth of home and the spirit of the Konkan community ” says the founder, Megha Datwani. The culinary event comprises of seafood, spices like Kokum, and highlight dishes like Cucumber Vade, Jhinga Thecha, Bharli Vaangi and Konkani Chicken Pulao.
