The latest iteration of ELLE Carnival in Mumbai featured the finest in fashion, beauty, and lifestyle. Mumbai’s fashionable set gathered at Phoenix Palladium for day one of shopping and celebration.
Mall-goers were spoilt for choice with options from over 20 stalls spanning all things beauty and fashion. Categories included cuisine, skincare, fashion, and everything in between. Enjoying some serious shopping therapy, they grooved to the tunes of amazing musicians.
The ELLE Booth was one of the centres of attention. The booth offered the best of homegrown designers for all the fashion enthusiasts.
Shoppers seized the opportunity to see ELLE-curated expert panel discussions and learn about the opinions of the industry on beauty and fashion. It was an additional reason for enthusiasts of fashion and beauty to join the festival. The panel discussion “ Diversity and Inclusivity In Fashion, Progress And The Path Forward” saw a panel of designers and entrepreneurs discussing breaking stereotypes, and how fashion can be a powerful tool for change. Akshay Tyagi, a fashion stylist and consultant, creator of numerous costume pieces for Bollywood films and styled celebrities, shared his wisdom with attendees.
Aarti Vijay Gupta, having showcased her collections at Lakmé Fashion Week runway and Lotus Make-up India Fashion Week, shared her insights with us. Gracing the panel was the amazing Saisha Shinde, a designer, who has dressed Bollywood actors like Deepika Padukone, Kiara Advani, Bhumi Pednekar, and Kareena Kapoor Khan. A beacon of authenticity and a trailblazer in her own right, she let attendees on in her personal and professional journey. Nitya Arora, founder of VALLIYAN, spoke about her 17-year design career and renowned voice in the fashion landscape.
Those looking for a wardrobe upgrade got a golden opportunity with the #ShopWithMe experience, where influencers like Shrima Rai, Natasha Patel, Neha Meghwani, and more shared their hand-picked styles. Receiving recommendations from their favourite influencers was nothing short of a dream come true for shoppers.
As the sun set, the party lights flashed on at the glamorous venue of Julius, with a performance by the fabulous Glorious Luna setting the stage for a phenomenal soiree attended by the likes of class fame Piyush Khati, TV star Tejaswi Prakash, Alicia Kaur and more.
All in all, day one of the ELLE Carnival was a blast for shoppers, who indulged in all things fashion, beauty, music, and lifestyle, to the backdrop of great music—it was an all-day celebration.
