There’s an interesting mix of drama, sci-fi, comedy and action. Check out our May watch list that includes some interesting new shows and films to keep you entertained this month.
1. Stranger Things Season 4 (Part 1)
One of the most anticipated shows this month, Stranger Things will finally drop part one of its fourth season. And it’s going to be much darker than the last. The upcoming season follows from where it left off. The official synopsis reads: “It’s been six months since The Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time – and navigating the complexities of high school hasn’t made things easier. In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery, that if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down.” What we’re super keen to know tho is whether Max (played by Sadie Sink) gets powers as she is seen levitating from the ground while her friends watch in surprise in the trailer. Eleven ( played by Millie Bobbie Brown), on the other hand, still doesn’t regain her powers. Did some kind of power transmission happen between the two? Also, Hopper is alive. Netflix has confirmed the news with his appearance in the trailer. But we are still curious to find out what exactly happened to Hopper and how he came back to life.
