Just recently, Kalamandir Jewellers opened its debut Mumbai flagship store in Borivali with a grand event. The platinum jewellery zone is one of the largest ones in the city with jewellery that’s been brought to consumers in collaboration with PGI. This dedicated platinum zone is set to redefine the standards of jewellery shopping with its exquisite array of timeless platinum creations meticulously crafted to captivate and enchant consumers.

The event was attended by Milan Shah, the Director of Kalamandir Jewellers, and Vaishali Banerjee, the Managing Director of Platinum Guild International (PGI) – India, who gave their tips and tricks on how to style platinum jewellery. The two also highlighted the potential that the platinum market holds in India. When asked about this cardinal shift in the market, they collectively stated, “It’s been long since customers have focused on gold and diamond jewellery. Now is the time for platinum to take centre stage, and the platinum experience zone at the flagship store is all set to lead the charge.”
This platinum jewellery zone at Kalamandir Jewellers will offer the latest collections from three different platinum brands, ensuring that the needs of customers from different market sectors are met. Some of these collections include the Platinum Love Bands collection for couples, Platinum EVARA, a contemporary women’s jewellery range featuring jewellery for both daily wear and special occasions, and a wide range of exquisitely designed pieces for men under Men of Platinum.
ELLE India’s Junior Fashion Editor Shaeroy Chinoy and Fashion Assistant Komal Shetty joined us at the store as they picked their platinum favourites for the season. “The collections feature very intricate pieces, with masterful craftsmanship. The collections are also very versatile, so there is always a piece of exquisite platinum jewellery for everyone and for every occasion,” said Komal Shetty about the event and the incredibly engaging styling session.
The in-store customers also enjoyed the photo-booth installation featuring the ELLE India and Kalamandir logo, smiling ear-to-ear in the setup. Great fun indeed!
