During the set, Taylor Swift uses fashion as a magical method to narrate her storytelling, often featuring Easter eggs and the emotions of her songs. She is seen donning a variety of costumes styled by Joseph Cassell Falconer from some of the biggest names in the fashion industry, like Versace, Zuhair Murad, Vivienne Westwood, Roberto Cavalli, Nicole + Felicia Couture, Alberta Ferretti, and many more.

Her looks are meticulously thought out and meant to showcase the mood of the albums, for example, the Etro design for Folklore or a one-legged snake-motif Roberto Cavalli jumpsuit for Reputation. And as the tour progresses, Swift reveals new pieces at each stop, subtly changing her style from site to venue.

Scroll down to learn more about some of her iconic looks and the designers behind them.

Roberto Cavalli

Reputation

This one-legged jumpsuit has been one of the most popular looks in her set. The Reputation-inspired ensemble is striking and the three-dimensional embroidered snake motif that winds from the bottom of her knee to the top of her neck, along with a black sheer sleeve, effortlessly sets the mood for the album.

1989

The Bad Blood singer also debuted a new colourful two-piece set created by Roberto Cavalli creative director Fausto Puglisi, which she wore with mismatched boots – a fun continuation to represent the venues.

Fearless

This week, Taylor debuted a new Fearless look from the Maison. A fringed skirt dress, completely embroidered with crystals and microbeads, recreates the iconic Roberto Cavalli Ray of Gold print, which Fausto Puglisi exclusively designed for her.

Vivienne Westwood

The Tortured Poets Department

Throughout her TTPD performances, Taylor Swift was seen wearing multiple styles by the British label. Her main look was a stunning custom couture white recycled taffeta gown, draped and corseted for the performance. The dress featured the lyrics of the song Fortnight,I love you, it’s ruining my life,” embroidered on the drape. She accessorised the dress with lace-up Christian Louboutin ankle boots and a white military jacket with tassel epaulettes.

Later, for other songs from the album, she wore the gorgeous custom silver and black twill tailcoat, which she completed with a matching high-waisted brief set and a bustier adorned with a black crystal. And lastly, a signature three-row black agate orb choker finished her ensemble.

Versace

Lover

A constant body suit design in her wardrobe for the tour. If you have attended the tour or caught the film in the theatres, you might know that this embellished ensemble kickstarts her concert with Cruel Summer.

To perform her song The Man, the singer changes into a shimmering double-breasted Versace blazer adorned with iridescent fuchsia crystals and accentuated with gold Medusa buttons (switch it up in a sequinned pinstripe for the European leg). The look is styled with Louboutin boots, a customised take on Eleonora Botta’s style, and embellished with thousands of sparkling strass crystals.

Red

Taylor has been donning a Gladys Tamez Millinery hat and an Ashish sequined t-shirt with her lyrics embroidered. The text on her slogan t-shirts changes at every tour stop. You can also spot her in a glittering red coat by the designer, which is layered over a matching bodysuit and guitar.

Zuhair Murad

Midnights

As you can see, the singer has made sparkly bodysuits a staple of her tour wardrobe. This particular piece took more than 350 hours to construct beaded with 20,000 sparkling crystals and pearls.
