What even is a binge worthy K-drama without the captivating visual chemistry between the leading couple? Over the years, we have witnessed multiple on-screen pairings hit the charts with high ratings. While we agree the script is a big part of the success, the great chemistry onscreen makes it more convenient for the audience.
K-drama fans get even more excited about a new release if the leading duo is showcasing great bonding or if their energies will complement each other. There’s a long list of K-drama couples who have delivered multiple hits together – the classic example is Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin in Crash Landing on You or their 2018 film The Negotiation, who are now a veritable blue print for chemistry for the lead pair.

2. Lee Min Ho and Jun Ji Hyun
An iconic pairing! Two of the biggest Hallyu stars were seen together in Legend of the Blue Sea for an amazing fairytale romance. Considering how at ease and affectionate they are with one another in real life, fans would love to catch them on screen again.
3. Park Seo Joon & Park Min Young
This pair is the epitome of a power couple on screen and will always stand as one of the best to emerge from K-Dramas. Is it too much to ask for these gifted powerhouses to reunite for another hit? A big hit is promised.
4. Ahn Hyo Seop & Kim Sejeong
One of my personal favourite, Hyo Seop and Sejeong’s insane chemistry is one of the biggest reason for Business Proposal’s success globally. And fans can’t wait for the couple to appear together once more in a K-drama rom-com.
5. Kim Go Eun and Wi Ha Joon
Little Women’s Kim Go Eun and Wi Ha Joon gave us a slow-burn romance that kept us on edge. Even though seeing them as a couple wasn’t the main plot, audiences were enamoured with Go Eun and Ha Joon’s intense connection. And K-drama fans can’t wait for the endearing duo to get back together on screen and showcase their full potential.
