A-list celebrities across the globe have ascended to Venice to enjoy the last leg of summer and promote their latest films. While seasoned actors like Juliane Moore, Cate Blanchett, Tessa Thompson and Jodie Turner-Smith have already made the head turns on the red carpet of the 90th Venice Film Festival, it’s the Timothée Chalamet Vs. Harry Styles face-off that we’re all really here for. The Dune star has already packed a punch in a statement-making scarlet, halter-neck, coordinated set by Haider Ackermann, your move Harry?
Besides the teenage heartthrobs, it’s pop culture’s young sirens who are soaring the temperature on the red carpet this season. From Euphoria sisters Maude Apatow and Sydney Sweeney in vintage Armani to Riverdale’s very own Betty Cooper a.k.a Lili Reinhart in Miu Miu—this year’s Venice Film Festival saw celebrities bringing their best foot forward in fashion. The Stranger Things alumni attended the premiere of her upcoming film, The Whale, in a dove grey Alexander McQueen gown with bodice embellishments, side cut-outs and ruffle details on the skirt.

For the premiere of her movie White Noise, Juliane Moore walked the red carpet in a sequin-lathered, semi-sheer black Valentino gown with a matching cape.
3. Tessa Thompson
Matching the red carpet quite literally, Tessa Thompson’s opening look for the Venice Film Festival this year was simply iconic. The Passing actor opted for a mini Elie Saab dress with an overarching shoulder detail and a trail.
4. Cate Blanchett
Cate Blanchett looked like a fresh bloom, marking the end of summer in a form-flattering black jumpsuit by Schiaparelli with 3D floral detail in the bodice.
5. Emma Chamberlain
The YouTuber walked the red carpet in vintage Valentino and Cartier for her debut appearance at the Venice Film Festival.
6. Jodie Turner-Smith
Jodie Turner-Smith is an actual goddess! The White Noise actor strutted down the red carpet in this state-of-the-art Christoper Roger’s multi-hued, abstract gown with a cascading flare at the bottom.
7. Timothée Chalamet
Man of the moment, Timothée Chalamet, for one of his appearances at the festival, wore a camouflage safari short skirt and paired it with a basic white t-shirt, and floral cardigan—all by Celine.
8. Dylan Sprouse & Barbara Palvin
Disney’s Darling Dylan Sprouse and his Victoria’s Secret Alumni girlfriend made a glamorous appearance on the red carpet in Armani Prive. The model chose a peach full-length dress with surface ornamentation and her beau complemented her well in a classic black tux.
9. Camila Mendes
Nobody does it quite like Veronica Lodge! Camila Mendes graced the Venice Film Festival red carpet in a mermaid-shaped Armani Prive gown with layered shoulder details, a plunging neckline and a side-cutout.
10. Maude Apatow & Sydney Sweeney
Fresh off the success of season 2 of Euphoria, Cassie and Lexie Howard reunite on the Venice Film Festival red carpet in almost matching Armani Prive gowns. Talk about sisters who stay together and slay together!
