The internet is divided, and F1 fans are setting the comment section on fire across all social media pages. The news that Carlos Sainz’s fans were eagerly waiting for has just dropped. The F1 driver has finally announced his team for 2025, Williams Racing, and it may or may not be what fans expected from him. The driver posted on his Instagram, saying, “I am very happy to announce that I will be joining Williams Racing from 2025 onwards. It is no secret that this year’s driver market has been exceptionally complex for various reasons and that it has taken me some time to announce my decision.”
He also added, “However, I am fully confident that Williams is the right place for me to continue my F1 journey, and I am extremely proud of joining such a historic and successful team, where many of my childhood heroes drove in the past and made their mark on our sport. The ultimate goal of bringing Williams back to where it belongs, at the front of the grid, is a challenge that I embrace with excitement and positivity. I am convinced that this team has all the right ingredients to make history again, and starting on January 1, I will give my absolute best to drive Williams forward alongside every single member of the team.”.

While this change for Carlos was expected, it has left the ‘Forza Ferrari’ community in sadness. His fanbase has always pictured him in the patent ‘Ferrari Red’ colours. But this team change won’t be the first time we will catch the driver in shades of blue and white. As Carlos often considers himself a fan of timeless fashion, he has donned the classic colour quite a few times, which gives us vision for what to expect from him next year:
Repping The Team
Red may be his colour now, but blue doesn’t look that bad on the driver, as you can see him donning shades of blue for his earlier teams.
New Golf Kit
This might be a sign for Carlos to add a few more blue polo t-shirts to his golf kit.
Old Money (William’s Version)
Timeless, classic and effortless but make it blue.
Casual Circuit
From denims to sweatshirts or even his swimming fit, he can surely make space for more azure on the ‘gram.
