Season 4 of Emily in Paris may have left some viewers wanting more in terms of plot, but when it comes to fashion, costume designer Marylin Fitoussi delivers in spades. The show has always been known for its sartorial splendour, and this season’s haute couture was no exception. The outfits continued to shine, and Emily Cooper served Eclectic Ringarde like no other. From launch parties to pregnancy announcements, in terms of her outfits, Emily is always prepared for the best.
However cringe the show may be, we have to admit, we’ve all had our moments wishing we were Emily Cooper, instagramming our pain au chocolat in quaint cafes, and living it out with Gabriel and Alfie. Now, while we can’t promise you a man like Gabriel, we do have some outfit alternatives from Indian homegrown labels that can help you channel your inner Emily Cooper, and bring Paris to you.
Ditto Emily!
There is nothing that screams Emily more than an eclectic blue co-ord set.
This Twinkle Hanspal Co-ord set is a pretty similar piece and even comes embellished with 3D flower detailing.
To accessorise, this embroidered bag from Notice Me is a great option to add a pop of colour to an already colourful outfit. So Emily, Right?
Finish the look off with some classic shiny boots, and you can’t go wrong with these ones from Theatre.
It Doesn’t Get Yellow-er Than This
Remember the Butter-Yellow trend from earlier this year and how the internet was eating it up? Well, Emily Cooper ate that up too, and oh boy did she serve!
This B Label yellow co-ord is perfect to live out your Savoir dreams, no matter where you are.
Emily kept it simple but still statement for the bag, and this yellow one from Notice Me does the same.
She’s taken the monotone route by going for yellow shoes, and these block heels from Papa Dont Preach are the perfect conclusion to this outfit. Parfaite!
Keepin’ It Fresh
Emily’s love for playing with colour is not alien, especially her love for the colour green.
This bralette and mini set from Papa Dont Preach is so Emily-coded.
For shoes, she went for solid-coloured coloured blocked heels, and you can’t go wrong with this pair from Theatre.
Whatever Happened To Being Demure?
Emily loves a good fashion statement, and she made exactly that in the all-striped suit she wore for the Baccarat Perfume launch party.
However, this outfit isn’t exactly wearable for those of us who don’t have launch parties to attend. Besides, isn’t being demure and mindful all the rage at the moment?
Demure is exactly what this Love Birds Dress serves, while still standing out, making sure you get your carriage moment.
