Step 01: Prep
The key to glowing, liquid gold skin is excellent prep. Post cleansing, use a hydrating, gel-based moisturiser. Dab the product in so that it seeps deep into your skin without causing excessive greasiness. Follow up with a silicone-based illuminating primer; we love the e.l.f. Cosmetics Illuminating Face Primer. Steer clear of oil-control, mattifying primers as they won’t give you the desired shine you need under the foundation layer.
Step 02: Foundation
After priming your skin, apply a thin layer of foundation, go for sheer coverage. Use a beauty blender sponge to make sure the application is even and not cakey. A formula like the Clinique Even Better Clinical Serum Foundation can get the job done; it is weightless and adds an extra dose of moisturisation to your skin.
Step 03: Concealer
The liquid gold make-up look is also one that is blemish-free, so a concealer is a must. Do not cake it on–instead apply a couple of dots of a full coverage formula like the L’Oreal Paris Infallible Full Wear Concealer and spread it evenly on areas with visible hyperpigmentation and dark marks.
Step 04: Powder

Step 05: Highlighter

Step 06: Mist
Yep, you read that right! To add golden glow to your make-up you will have to add an extra dose of hydration before locking it all in. Spritz a water-based facial mist all over your face and let it dry for 60 seconds before moving on to the next step.
Step 07: Setting Spray
The final step of this routine is the setting spray. Seeing powders tend to mattify your make-up look no matter the number of hydrating products you’ve used. So make sure to use a setting spray in order to add finishing touches to your make-up.
