For the ELLE X Philips Garment Care Fashion Soiree, everyone turned up in their finery, undoubtedly made better and wrinkle-free with the latest range of Philips Garment Steamers. The new launch was sure the star of the event everywhere, at backstage, in front of the cameras and amongst the guests. It was fashion’s night, featuring avant garde silhouettes, breezy fabrics and much more.
The Fashion Show
Mahima Mahajan showcased her latest collection at a fashion show that had everyone making notes for their next statement look. The presentation was a wonderful amalgamation of easy silhouettes and vibrant colours. Mustard, a colour that has quickly become a favourite with the stylish set, featured prominently. Florals and flowy garments with flattering fits also made an appearance.
With maximalism defining the undercurrent of Mahima Mahajan’s recent collection, the pieces were fit for a tropical getaway. The boned underbust panels, satin bandanas and printed bralettes lent the showcase a youthful edge with the whites balancing the frequent colour pops.
The models strutted down the ramp in a collection that was wrinkle-free thanks to the the Philips Standing Garment Steamer which had a huge part to play in this. The stylists used the steamer to iron out the creases, making sure the garment looked fresh and crisp for the runway show. The steamer comes with a unique tilting style board making the process of steaming extremely smooth. The crew got ample support from the steamer, easing up the process of getting the garments ready, making show prep a breeze.

The front row and attendees were mindfully curated by ELLE team and featured some of the ‘IT’ fashion folks like Ritvi Shah, Tarini Shah, Rajvee Gandhi, Muskan Rawat, and more. Mahima Mahajan’s collection, fuelled with sunset hues and bold prints,made a perfect choice for everyone’s next vacation wardrobe. The show-stopper, Sadia Khateeb, was kitted in a floral gown with tinge of sparkles, which instantly became a crowd favourite.
The Experience
Everyone also got a chance to visit the one-of-a-kind experential zone, which was decked in the brand’s signature hues. The attendees got the chance to try the many features of the new Philips Garment Steamer, took a bunch of Instagram-worthy pictures, and a lot more.
