Ever hated a character so much that it made you fall in love with the actor? This statement perhaps best explains the allure of Jacob Elordi or as the internet says ‘the white boy of the month’. Ever since making his debut in Netflix’s messy teenage romance franchise The Kissing Booth and continuing to break hearts in HBO’s drug drama Euphoria, Jacob Elordi has been cementing his one-to-watch status. 2023 was a spectacular year for Jacod Elordi’s filmography and 2024 seems lined up to get better.
He delivered some of the most noteworthy performances, from playing Elvis Presley in Sofia Coppola’s critically acclaimed Priscilla to the lead in Emerald Fennell’s homoerotic old money-eqsue, Saltburn, which is making quite a stir on the internet due to its twisted storyline. But when he is not smashing things on screen (which happens quite a few times), he is busy modeling for his exquisite handbag collection which has pieces from Burberry and Bottega Veneta.
His aesthetic is quite versatile and has a hint of retro romance with a strong sense of fashion storytelling, with each piece conveying the look. Jacob is often spotted donning some classic ’90s style or Princess Diana-coded appearances. So, if your explore page has been taken over by the star here’s a look back at some of his most fan-favourite looks:
Old School Suit Up
Straight out of an English literature book, Jacob Elordi chose a classic brown Burberry three-piece suit for the Saltburn premiere in Los Angeles, given that he portrayed an aristocratic English student in the movie.
Tailored Shorts
Jacob Elordi’s fit was a head-to-toe Valentino delight, including their signature black tie, over-the-knee shorts, and leather boots. The socks were Nike, and the internet was seemingly divided over the same. As for us, we were too busy gawking, so… what socks?
Valentino Baby
Adding another Valentino look to the best-dressed list, Elordi rocked these straight-fit denim trousers and a double-breasted jacket to a TAG Heuer event in London.
Sultry Romance
Someone should hire him in the new Bridgerton series. Elordi donned a relaxed Valentino outfit with an unfastened bow for the grand reopening of Tiffany & Co.’s New York City flagship. His Tiffany jewellery was seen, of course, thanks to the open collar.
Airport Star
Just like his red carpet fits his airport style is also moodboard worthy. His travel uniform includes baggy cargo pants, white T-shirt, and a fitted biker jacket with a blue baseball cap. He adds a little extra touch by matching the headphone to the suitcase.
Grey Affair
The light grey summer suit could be seen as the wrong choice for a red carpet appearance, but when paired with a black shirt and a ’70s moustache, the result is quite stunning.
Jet Set-Black
The actor has been spotted in multiple trench coats, but this jet black one takes the cake. With an enormous black cloak that goes with everything, Elordi elevated the classic pieces and improved any menswear ensemble that could be imagined. That meant brown Derby shoes, blue denim, huge aviators, and a somewhat dog-eared copy of W. H. Auden’s Selected Poems—a book that feels very Saltburn-coded.
Princess Diana
Making coffee runs stylish again. Jacob Elordi sported one of the season’s hottest bags and a freshly shaven mustache. He swapped his denim overalls for charcoal grey Nike shorts with an olive green sweatshirt, channelling his inner Princess Diana style.
