Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput are one power-packed couple whose sartorial sensibilities have always been on point. Remember that time they twinned for the shoot of a TV show? The couple has, time and again, proved that the decision to dress alike is a conscious one that’s pre-planned, right from the design to the designer.
Last night, the new parents stepped out for the screening of Shahid’s newest release, Batti Gul Meter Chalu, where they twinned yet again, this time in monochrome.
Mira opted for a short dress in black with tie-up sleeve detailing in white that she styled with flats. Shahid went for an athleisure look by sporting a sleeveless black hoodie, white inner, black shorts and trainers.
In a recent interview, Shahid told us how his wife inspired him to try experimental styles: “Mira influences me and helps me pick up stuff that I wouldn’t usually go for, so that’s nice, as I get to do something new and different. We usually pick up stuff out of our wardrobes”.
